Martial Arts Master

With 40 years of practicing Martial Arts he achieved his Black Belt on April 14, 1986. Since then, he has progressed through the ranks, achieving his Instructor's Certification on November 14, 1988, Master's Degree on October 9, 1995, and achieving his 7th Degree on July 4, 2014. After receiving his Instructors Certification, he helped his Master run and operate his studio, working with school systems and their students. Master Jon then opened, owned, and operated his own studio "Jon's Karate Academy" for 14 years where he taught students from 4-60 years of age. During his journey he has trained in 11 styles, trained with Bill "Superfoot" Wallace with many other programs, such as, Stranger Danger, Bully Buster, and Safety Awareness. He has taught these programs in special seminars at elementary and middle schools, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. In addition, Master Jon, has taught Martial Arts to special needs children/adults from those who have ADD, ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, and the deaf community. These training and skills makes him a very diverse and experienced Sensai.
