The Artist –

Dorothy Q. Rates Finiello

● specializes in painting, clay sculpture, fiber crafts, design,

collage arts, and illustration. She creates art through “The

Good Lil’ Artist” Art and. Art Services,

● She received her degrees and certification in art from Ky.

Wesleyan College 1977, Fayetteville State University1997, and

from the University of North Carolina Pembroke 2001.

● She has taught elementary art for Durham Public

Schools in North Carolina . She also taught in the

Cumberland County Schools and Johnston County

Public Schools in North Carolina as a middle grade

visual art teacher and is now retired.

● She previously served as Art Services Director for The Arts

Council of Fayetteville/ Cumberland County .
